During this Battle Of Arnhem tour by car, one of our skilled local guides will join you for a 6 hour guided tour in and around the Arnhem/Oosterbeek area. This is for a group of 4 people maximum.

One of our skilled guides will accompany you on a private tour. We work with local guides who have a great passion for sharing the story of the Battle of Arnhem. Along with eyewitness stories and photos taken during the Battle of Arnhem you’ll get a good idea of what happened in Arnhem in September 1944.

Operation Market Garden (17–25 September 1944) was an unsuccessful Allied military operation planned and predominantly led, by the British. It was fought in the Netherlands and Germany in World War II. The success of the operation depended on taking a series of nine bridges, the last being at the city of Arnhem over the Rhine river. Airborne and land forces succeeded in the liberation of the Dutch cities of Eindhoven and Nijmegen, but failed in keeping their farthest positions in and around the city of Arnhem including the bridge over the Rhine.

Vrijdag 27-06-25 hebben wij met 7 collega's (Ex-militairen en dienende militairen van de Nederlandse en Belgische Marine) een fantastische Battlefield Tour over de Slag om Arnhem gedaan. Vanaf het eerste moment waren we onder de indruk van de enorme kennis van onze gids, Arnold. Hij vertelde elk detail met zoveel passie en enthousiasme, dat het voelde alsof we zelf even terug in de tijd stapten.
